Southern Maid has a great history of baking and selling delicious donuts thanks
to the secret recipe of their donut flour. Southern Maid Donuts still produce the same great, fresh taste that they had in the first time they were produced in 1937 back in hometown Louisiana. You can feel the history of those times.

Every school term break and summer holiday, we organise Kids Donut Making Workshop for children 6 -15 years old. Our Kids Donut  Making Workshop consist of 2 hours of fun and learning time. During the lesson, your kids will learn how our delicious donuts are made everyday and make donuts themselves too! They will learn how to mix, knead, roll, cook, pipe, decorate and have basic understanding of health and safety procedures in our kitchen. All participants will also take home their handmade donuts!

 

 

Upcoming sessions:

2nd of October 2017 to 13th of October 2017! School Holiday Donut Making Workshop will run from - Mondays to Fridays. (please note sessions on Thursday and Friday starts from 12.30 pm).


Session time: Monday to Wednesday 11am-1pm.

Thursday to Friday 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Price: $30 per child ( for one session on one day)

Venue: Southern Maid, Shop 11, Station Square, 28 Remuera Road, Newmarket, Auckland City.

Capacity: 6- 10+ child per session (more staff will be in duty according to the number of attendees)
